Agenda: The Lucknow Pact
(Freeze date: 29th December, 1916)
It is the winter of 1916, amid the marble halls and meaty kebabs of Lucknow, a historic committee is convened for diplomacy. Once fractured by ideology, language, and visions of bhavishya, three powerful blocs now sit across the same table — not together by trust, but by necessity. The Moderates of the Congress, once firm believers in mild constitutional reforms, now find common ground with the Extremists, who had long demanded purna swaraj. Between them stands the hope of a reunited Congress. Meanwhile, the Muslim League, once cautious and distant, now leans in — not with full faith, but with a willingness to negotiate, to safeguard its own future. All three factions, once strangers in their own nation, now seek a united language for self-rule.
They meet as passengers aboard a burning train, trying to decide who gets a seat in which compartment. The pact they draft could be a handshake — but what lies behind those hands, is for you, delegates, to decide.
Welcome to the Historical All India Political Parties Meet.
